NODE Robotics and Meili Partner to enable real-time manual vehicle tracking with LiDAR-Based RTLS

Stuttgart, Germany. NODE Robotics announces a new partnership with Meili Robots, provider of the universal fleet management system Meili FMS. The collaboration integrates NODE Robotics’ RTLS solution NODE.tracking with Meili FMS, enabling accurate positioning of manual vehicles within automated fleet management environments.

Through this integration, position data from NODE.tracking allows Meili FMS to incorporate manual vehicles—such as forklifts—into the fleet overview. This ensures that automated and manually driven vehicles can be coordinated within the same operational environment. By making manual vehicles visible to fleet management systems, the partnership helps operators gain a comprehensive overview of intralogistics operations.

Meili FMS enables companies to monitor, control, and optimize heterogeneous fleets of mobile robots from a single interface, regardless of robot model, type, or brand. With strong capabilities in interoperability, real-time traffic control, and task allocation, Meili’s platform is designed to integrate seamlessly with existing enterprise systems such as WMS or ERP solutions.

The integration of NODE.tracking closes an important visibility gap in many facilities where automated fleets are managed digitally, but manual vehicles remain invisible to fleet management systems. By providing high-precision, marker-free localization for manual vehicles, NODE.tracking enables Meili FMS to represent both automated and manual traffic within a unified operational picture.

This combined approach supports safer and more efficient mixed-fleet environments where manual and automated vehicles operate side by side. Many facilities with heterogeneous fleets face challenges such as bottlenecks or safety risks because automated systems cannot detect the position of manually driven vehicles. By integrating real-time tracking into fleet orchestration, the partnership improves operational transparency, traffic coordination, and overall efficiency.

“NODE Robotics provides a strong navigation and tracking technology that will enhance the coordination of the automated and manually driven fleets. We see strong potential to solve a magnitude of pain points currently faced at brownfield sites introducing automation to their floors,” says Aldus von der Burg, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Meili Robots.

“NODE.tracking brings precise, LiDAR-based localization to manual vehicles and makes their positions available within fleet management systems like Meili FMS,” says Ali Rahmati, Chief Sales Officer at NODE Robotics. “This integration helps close an important visibility gap in facilities where automated fleets are already coordinated digitally, but manual vehicles remain outside these systems. Together with Meili, we are enabling a more transparent and coordinated mixed-fleet environment.”

By combining NODE Robotics’ expertise in tracking and localization with Meili’s universal fleet management capabilities, both companies address the practical challenge of interoperability between automated fleets and manual vehicles—especially in brownfield environments where mixed traffic is the reality.

With NODE.tracking integrated into Meili FMS, customers can bring manual vehicle positions into the same operational view used to manage automated fleets. This creates a more transparent mixed-fleet environment and lays the groundwork for safer coordination and smoother traffic management across intralogistics operations.
