Already familiar with the robotics industry, Amir has become a driving force at NODE. In his role as full-stack developer and UX lead, he has significantly advanced our product interfaces, making them more intuitive and user-friendly.

What does a typical day look like for you at NODE?
As a team leader, I strategically organize my daily tasks into different categories. This includes taking time for comprehensive code reviews to maintain quality standards, actively participating in development tasks, facilitating discussions between team members and working seamless collaboration with other teams.
What originally made you decide to work at NODE Robotics?
Throughout the interview process, I found the transparency and openness very refreshing, starting with the initial phone call. The technical discussions with various team members were particularly interesting and gave me a strong sense of how I could make a meaningful contribution. I could clearly see the opportunity to make a difference within the team.
What do you find best about the culture at NODE?
I really appreciate the collaborative atmosphere at NODE. The emphasis on teamwork and open communication fosters a supportive environment where everyone's ideas are valued. In addition, NODE's commitment to professional development and work-life balance demonstrates a genuine interest in employee well-being.
What's your go-to tool or resource that you can't live without in your role?
Developing great software is all about how well you understand your customers. It's crucial to ask the right people the right questions. This is my most important strategy when developing software products.
Is there a book, movie, or personality that has particularly inspired or shaped you?
Pursuit of happiness, Batman trilogy are my favorite movies.
It's inspiring how those movies highlight the pursuit of happiness and the power of making a difference, even against odds. They show that a single person, even with minimal support, can have a tremendous impact. They've taught me that determination and the will to make a change can truly lead to something remarkable.
Are you a foodie? What's your favorite type of cuisine? What's your favourite dish out of it?
Yes, I am a big time foodie. I love food & exploring different cuisines. At home, I enjoy slow-cooked beef curry, and when dining out, one of my favorites is Kacchi, a traditional Bangladeshi dish made with mutton and rice.
